I don't know about you all, but I am ready for a vacation. This year has been trying to say the least. One thing I have experienced more than ever is test after test. Some brought by the Lord, some brought by the enemy but all have been a learning experience.
Throughout all of the crazy ups and downs I have resolved (More than ever) that God is in complete control. You know, it's one thing to quote meme's of pastors or repeat what you have heard from the pulpit all your life, it's another thing to watch it work out first hand and be given an opportunity to truly walk it out in faith.
This is why I KNOW this season of upheaval is happening to all of humanity.
I believe we are watching a movement in the spirit that is Red Sea equivalent. You might ask "where?". Let me tell you it's everywhere. As soon as the world seemed to go into complete hell I noticed that this had to be planned. Watching all the media bold face lie, watching celebrity after celebrity fall from grace. Watching the amount of evil escalate. It was all too perfect. Yeah, perfect. This isn't normal but it is completely a part of the plan. The man behind the curtain was not only exposed but he was drug out into the town square buck naked! This phenomenal display could only be the cause of a major spiritual breakthrough. Psalm 92:7-10 says:
7 that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.
8 But you, Lord, are forever exalted.
9 For surely your enemies, Lord, surely your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered. 10 You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured on me. 11 My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries; my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes.
Do you see? That is exactly what is going on right before our eyes. A supernatural line has been drawn and God Almighty is telling us to choose a side. Once and for all we have to choose this day Who we will serve!
I have watched this wave approaching on the horizon what seems like the last 10yrs. I have been studying and watching this crazy pattern moving like a ripple through black sludge. This movement has played out in my prayers for many many years. When I would bring it up to many people I respected, I was met with cross looks and passive responses. This was also, as learned, an effect of what was happening. People didn't want their world shaken and it was being violently shaken by the Right hand of God. When I was met with this push back all I could do was talk to God, and my husband, whom I trust more than anyone. And then I would have to sit back and watch. Pray and watch as the tides started to turn. My prayers consisted of asking the Lord to open His servants' eyes. To grab ahold of the Body of Christ, including myself and shake us like no other. See, we have played this balancing act in our walks that has been very dangerous. Entertaining demons through our entertainment guised as "innocent fun". We go to concerts, we watch movies and tv shows with blatant and not so blatant witchcraft in it and brush it off as make-believe. This has been laying the foundation of a spiritual war of Pompeii-ic proportions. Many sides are at play here God's divine will, the enemies feeble attempt to reign and our flesh fallen by sin. Above it all there is the Hand of God guiding and protecting everyone who was willing and obedient to run into the Arms of Jesus.
In Scripture God tells us over and over to lean into the right Hand of God and not on our own understanding. Why? Because He sees what is happening all around us. When we are overwhelmed by the happenings of this world, we need to keep our eyes on the One who holds the whole world in His hands. In these last few years this has been my guide. In my prayers I grab hold to His mighty right hand, Jesus. In this He has given me wisdom to discern the world around me and to walk in perfect peace. And above all, to pray for eyes to be opened and ears to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit.
Here are the scriptures I lean on and where I go to find my direction and comfort. 1. Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. 2. Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’
3. Exodus 15:6 Your right hand, O Lord, glorious in power, your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy.

I love the last part of Isaiah 41:10; "A hand of Justice, of power, of victory and of salvation". That sounds like the exact areas that the enemy is attacking. It looks like there is no justice for the many children in the world that are being trafficked. It looks like we are powerless in our government and the decisions they are making. It looks like we have lost our power as a nation and in some instances in prayer. It looks like the world is falling farther away from the saving knowledge of Jesus. See, when we surround ourselves with what the enemy wants us to see then yes, it looks helpless and overwhelming. BUT God is there. WE need to hold onto Him. Because in Him is truth, because He IS TRUTH! And what He says is higher and mightier than anything that the enemy is doing and saying! God is calling the Bride to prepare herself. He wants us to clean ourselves up and start looking like and acting like a bride worthy of Jesus. If I can have you take one thing away from this post, it's this. Don't worry! Don't allow the movement of the enemy to discourage you. Open your eyes, yes but discourage you? NO. Why? Because, WE WIN!!!!! The journey to that victory can be scary and overwhelming, but the victory is there and it is OURS! So, take this time to equip yourself with the Word of God. Guarding your heart and wash your mind in the water of the Word. This is the time. Every day God graces us with a day to run to Him. Amen Preparation for this battle will be in the next posts.
